Our Commercial team are involved in the identification and development of business opportunities and the profitable management of projects and contracts, from inception to completion.

Martin Petersen

I joined McBride via the danlind acquisition and have spent some time being a part of the Contract Manufacturing Business Unit. In my role I work together with colleagues from many different sites and countries, which I find very inspiring and motivating.

Group Information Systems

Our Group Information Systems team deals with computing including hardware, software, telecommunications and anything involved in transmitting information, plus the systems that facilitate communication.

June Lynch

I joined McBride almost 20 years ago and joined the GIS and SAP Applications team that look after the shop floor processes, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Quality etc. We also have responsibility for the SAP master data that drives the business, and the regulatory module of SAP that classifies our products. Originally we only supported and developed the UK systems and processes but in 2012 we became responsible for all the Manufacturing sites and Warehouse processes across McBride. I now lead that team. As the business strives for continuous improvement, we look for ways to use SAP functionality and new technology to support the business at an operational level. McBride believe in their people and as part of this support and development they have an internal Coaching and Mentoring Programme. They have supported my own development and I am now an internal coach - I coach people at all levels and from all areas of the business to help them understand their goals and their personal development. I have practiced as an internal coach for nearly 10 years and it gives me great satisfaction.

Product Development

Our Product Development function is responsible for the innovation, introduction and improvement of our product profile. Covering formulation and packaging development, technology scanning and innovation, regulatory compliance of products and industrialisation.

Kelly Pemartin

I have been working for McBride for 6 years. I have started my journey in 2014 as Engineer in Product Development for ADW application for Business Unit East. Since July 2019 I was promoted to lead the Powder Formulation team, where every day is a new challenge. I lead a very professional team whom continue to push limits, accept bigger challenges, think out of the box and broaden their technical expertise to collectively deliver great achievements. My philosophy: 'we never lose, either we win or we learn'. Remember, for every problem there is a solution! so focus on solutions rather than problems.

Group Purchasing

Our Group Purchasing team deal with the sourcing activities, negotiation and strategic selection of goods and services that are of importance to McBride.

Matthew Murray

My life at McBride began in September 2018, joining the Surfactants Chemical Purchasing Team. Working in Purchasing means you are responsible for making crucial decisions, such as negotiating high value contracts with suppliers, managing logistic solutions, doing market research and analysis, optimising product costs, as well as providing access to advanced operations and strategies. No day is the same with many challenging aspects, provided by changes in foreign currency, political change, technological advances, environmental fluctuations, and socio-cultural change, all add to the excitement of working within the role of the Purchasing Team.

Operations

Our Operations function are responsible for planning, organising, co-ordinating and controlling all the resources needed to produce McBride’s goods and services.

Alexandre Degiorgio

I’ve worked for McBride for over 10 years and in that time I have worked in 5 different roles which has allowed me to broaden my development, for me it was a great opportunity to grow with the company. I've spent a lot of time on the shop floor and I have learnt a lot about human contact and also technical aspects. My different functions with McBride have allowed me to develop my knowledge and skills with many enriching people. Working with culturally different sites is very positive and brings real added value to my work. Thank you to all of you whom I have known for all these years. It is together that we promote McBride’s success.

Human Resources

Our HR team is responsible for all things worker related to enable the organisation to accomplish its strategic priorities. That includes the whole employee lifecycle from attracting and recruiting, onboarding and training and development to compensation and benefits.

Chantal Vereenooghe

I joined McBride in 2001. Today I am the HR Manager at the production site in Ieper (Belgium). McBride is an international work place that inspires people to work in teams and to take leadership. We let people use their talents and develop their competences in a variety of job roles in production, warehousing, distribution, quality, HSE, sales & marketing, finance… The heart of our company is to create opportunities to reach out to different cultures and to work in a family atmosphere where our colleagues are based. Attracting people who are passionate about household products, how they are created and produced and how they are distributed to the supermarkets where they do their daily shopping. This is key to the success of our business.

Legal & Company Secretarial

Our Legal & Company Secretarial team are responsible for the efficient administration of McBride, in particular with ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented.

Angelique Fremaux

Upon joining McBride, I was impressed by how the company gives you challenging responsibilities from day one! I work in an exciting department where I have the chance to manage various projects during the same day and to always be involved in something new. Providing legal counsel and support to a global company is, by nature, a complex endeavour but the Legal team is proud to support McBride’s teams as an indispensable business partner.

Finance

Our Finance function includes planning, organising, auditing, accounting for and controlling McBride’s finances including producing the financial statements.

John Bertone

I started working for McBride in 2016 as the Head of Finance for our South region (Italy and Spain). I have since covered the roles of Head of Finance Commercial (Europe) and now Finance Director for our Powders, Aerosols and Asia Divisions. I think this progression says a lot about the opportunities available at McBride and the possibilities to develop both professionally and personally within the company. Whilst always based in Finance, I regularly collaborate with the Commercial, Operations, Product Development and Supply Chain teams. In fact, this cross-functional Business Partnering has allowed me to learn about most parts of our organization. For me, bringing people together from different countries and backgrounds is one of the best aspects of a multinational company and this is very much part of McBride’s way of working - interacting with colleagues from McBride’s various sites. The diversity of the teams and the clear commitment of everyone at McBride makes it a rewarding place to work.
