Purchase Orders Administration Officer - Part time

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading manufacturer’s based in Bagnatica, Italy. McBride is the leading supplier of Private Label Household and professional cleaning/hygiene products for Europe's largest and most successful retailers as well as producing own brand products.

Job Purpose

Quotate requests for spares & maintenance, administrative management of purchase orders

Your responsibilities will be

  • Scouting supplier market and refreshing the suppliers portfolio
  • Find the best offer for every request
  • Create SAP purchasing orders for technical equipments/facilities, according to dept’s requests
  • File all quotations
  • Be in touch with suppliers about the status of placed orders
  • Follow correctly and quickly the PO process from quotation to SAP creation / purchases delivery
  • Update or create PO instructions, procedures, etc.

Skills and Education we are looking for

  • Knowledge of components and suppliers (supplying capacity, purchasing lots, lead-times)
  • Good knowledge of mechanical spares drawing
  • Negotiation and ability to close business transactions
  • Data analysis (consumptions, prices, etc...)
  • Market scouting
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and one year of buying experience; OR, five years of buying experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved

Languages:

  • Fluent in spoken and written Italian
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Systems

  • Good user knowledge of Word, Excel, outlook, internet
  • SAP: for creation, modification and consultation purposes
